In these challenging times—marked by poverty, unemployment, low wages, and rising inflation—the poor are suffering the most. Many struggle to earn enough to feed their families and provide them with basic essentials such as clothing and education.
To bring relief and comfort to those in need, the Tariq Foundation Free Food Dastarkhawan, located at various Tariq Foundation Centres across the city, serves 50,000 meals twice daily to the poor, the deserving, and those who cannot afford to buy food—while ensuring their dignity and self-respect are upheld.
The Tariq Foundation has taken on the noble responsibility of providing free, freshly cooked meals to more than 50,000 underprivileged citizens of Pakistan. To fulfil this mission, the Foundation has established a modern, state-of-the-art Tariq Foundation Kitchen, equipped with a fully automatic bread-baking plant that operates around the clock.
This ensures a continuous supply of cooked meals to the Tariq Foundation Free Food Dastarkhawan at hundreds of its centres and service points across Karachi, where people in need are served with care, respect, and compassion.

At TariqFoundation, we work to support people in need with dignity and care.
