Tariq Foundation, a non-profit welfare organisation in Pakistan, is driven by a noble mission, guided by sincere compassion for humanity, and firmly committed to serving the common people without discrimination of caste, creed, or colour. This dedication remains constant, even in the face of daily challenges such as frequent road accidents, sudden emergencies, and unforeseen events.
The cornerstone of these extensive humanitarian services began with a small fleet of ambulances. Tariq Foundation Ambulance Service now operates one of the largest ambulance fleets, equipped with first-aid kits and oxygen cylinders, serving the mega city of Karachi and other regions of Pakistan. The service remains on alert around the clock, providing rapid rescue and relief to victims of road accidents, train collisions, air crashes, building collapses, disasters, and other emergencies. The ambulances also transport the sick, as well as unidentified, abandoned, decomposed, and mutilated bodies found in drains and sewers—handled with dignity by Tariq Foundation volunteers.
A modern facility equipped with automatic bread-baking plants, capable of preparing meals in large quantities to support the Foundation’s food distribution efforts.
In times of poverty, unemployment, low wages, and rising inflation, the poor are suffering the most. Many struggle to earn enough to feed and support their families. To provide comfort and relief, the Tariq Foundation Dastarkhawan, located at various centres across the city, serves 50,000 meals twice daily to the poor, deserving individuals, and those unable to afford food—ensuring dignity and self-respect for all.
Amid rising living costs, poor families face severe hardships. Tariq Foundation Ration offers monthly grocery support worth Rs. 2,000 to help sustain families in need.
