As the commercial hub of Pakistan, the city constantly receives a large influx of migrants from across the country. This growing population has resulted in severe strain on existing graveyards, many of which have reached full capacity and can no longer accommodate new burials. This situation becomes especially concerning during pandemics, disasters, and other large-scale emergencies.

There are also many deceased individuals who are unclaimed, abandoned, or unidentified. These bodies are respectfully handled by Tariq Foundation volunteers. After performing the ghusal and providing kafan, they are laid to rest with dignity in the Tariq Foundation Graveyard.
At TariqFoundation, we work to support people in need with dignity and care.
